EMPRESS EXTREME "C" INTERFACE - The Empress Kernel Level "C" Interface, often referred to as the Empress "MR Routines". The Empress Extreme "C" Interface gives the developer maximum control over time and space in developing embedded database applications. In most benchmarks, applications written in this interface are faster, use less memory and can be optimized all over the place.
