Empress Embedded Database was designed by John Kornatowski
and Ivor Ladd.

Founder of Empress Software, Mr. Kornatowski is directly
responsible for the strategic and long-range planning
of the company's product development, sales and marketing
efforts. He created and developed the commercial implementation
for the advanced Empress relational database technology,
phasing in a high profile marketing strategy. A recognized
authority in the field, he has authored and co-authored
over 30 papers on relational databases and other computer
topics. Mr. Kornatowski earned his undergraduate degree
from the University of Toronto, where he also conducted
graduate work in computer science and electrical engineering.

Harvard Graduate School of Business. |

Co-founder of Empress Software, Mr. Ladd is responsible
for all new product development. He has translated the
company's database management expertise into office information
systems and sophisticated technical applications such
as CAD/CAM, voice messaging, photogrammetry, mapping and
image processing. He holds an undergraduate degree from
the University of British Columbia and a graduate degree
from the University of Toronto. He has completed his studies
in Business Management at the Harvard Graduate School
of Business. Mr. Ladd has authored a number of articles
on relational database technology and is an often-requested
speaker for professional conferences. |
