The 4GL is fast and efficient but does not have the latest GUI or browser front end.

The Empress Report Writer is a script based report generator for maximum flexibility in printing custom reports from the Empress RDBMS. The Report Writer also is character based.

The Empress GUI Builder is a Development Environment for building and running applications in the "C" and/or GUI script languages. The GUI has been designed for the X-Windows and Motif environment running under Unix and Linux.
